She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Psychology from Dr. MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women, Chennai, under Madras University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from Mater Dei CMI College of Arts and Science, Enathu, Kerala, under the University of Kerala.

Her MSc final-year thesis examined financial self-efficacy, mental wellbeing and emotional regulation among single versus partnered mothers. The work was also published in the edited volume Adolescent Mental Health Hazards – Retrospective Researches.
